Car bomb kills more than 50 people in Baghdad

A car bomb tore through a market area in a mainly Shiite neighborhood of the Iraqi capital on Tuesday.
It was the deadliest attack of this type in more than three months, killing more than 50 people and wounding dozens. There have been no claims of responsibility.

The blast has shattered the relative calm in Baghdad following stepped up security measures.
