Boney M frontman found dead in Russia



The music world is mourning the death of Bobby Farrell.

The frontman of the disco and pop group Boney M was found dead in a hotel room in St Petersburg.

One day earlier he had performed in the city and reportedly complained of feeling unwell.


There is no word yet on his cause of death.
Boney M was put together by the German singer-songwriter Frank Farian.
The group rose to stardom with such hits as "Ma Baker", "Rivers of Babylon" and "Rasputin".
