Chicago Stunned by Olympic Bid Loss

The city of Chicago spent tens of millions of dollars over two years in an effort to bring the 2016 Summer Olympic Games to the Midwest United States. Those efforts ended on October 2nd when the International Olympic Committee (IOC) voted in favor of Rio De Janeiro, Brazil.
