Rural Colombians fear Farc incursions

Colombia's war against the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (Farc), left-wing anti-government rebels, is fought on many fronts, usually in rural areas where civilians are constantly caught in the crossfire.

Nearly three million people are internally displaced in Colombia, the second largest humanitarian crisis in the world after Sudan.

In the jungle region of Guaviare, the escalation of military operations have caused at least 15,000 people to leave their homes this year.
